तानि वा एतानि सामान्येतं सामवेदमभ्यतपंस्तस्याभितप्तस्य यशस्तेज इन्द्रियं वीर्यमन्नाद्यंरसोऽजायत ॥ ३.३.२ ॥
tāni vā etāni sāmānyetaṃ sāmavedamabhyatapaṃstasyābhitaptasya yaśasteja indriyaṃ vīryamannādyaṃraso’jāyata || 3.3.2 ||
2. Those Sāma mantras stimulated the Sāma Veda. Out of that Sāma Veda so stimulated came fame, vitality, the power of the organs, energy, and the essence of food.
