तच्च संस्मृत्य संस्मृत्य रूपमत्यद्भुतं हरे: |
विस्मयो मे महानराजन्हृष्यामि च पुन: पुन: || 77||
tach cha sansmṛitya sansmṛitya rūpam aty-adbhutaṁ hareḥ
vismayo ye mahān rājan hṛiṣhyāmi cha punaḥ punaḥ
tat—that; cha—and; sansmṛitya saṁsmṛitya—remembering repeatedly; rūpam—cosmic form; ati—most; adbhutam—wonderful; hareḥ—of Lord Krishna; vismayaḥ—astonishment; me—my; mahān—great; rājan—King; hṛiṣhyāmi—I am thrilled with joy; cha—and; punaḥ punaḥ—over and over again
Translation:
O King! As often as I recall that most wonderful form of the Lord, great is my astonishment, and I rejoice again and again.
Commentary:
In the previous verse, Sanjaya described the joy of hearing the Lord’s message. Here he expresses his astonishment when he saw the wondrous form of Krishna. “I rejoice again and again,” says Sanjaya. Great is his astonishment when he remembers the Universal form of the Lord. The little small world in which man lives is forgotten for the time being, and the devotee actually sees the mighty infinite Virat form of God. When this vision appears, the devotees are filled with overflowing joy that is above all other joys that he finds in the ordinary objects of the world. In that state of ecstasy, some sing, some dance, and some are plunged into deep silence.

Answer: It is most wonderful.
Question: How did Sanyasa feel when he saw it?
Answer: He was filled with astonishment.
