एष वै यजमानस्य लोक एतास्म्यत्र यजमानः परस्तादायुषः स्वाहापहत परिघमित्युक्त्वोत्तिष्ठति ॥ २.२४.१५ ॥
eṣa vai yajamānasya loka etāsmyatra yajamānaḥ parastādāyuṣaḥ svāhāpahata parighamityuktvottiṣṭhati || 2.24.15 ||
15. ‘I am ready to go to a world appropriate for one who performs sacrifices. I will live in this world after my death.’ Saying ‘Svāhā,’ he completes the sacrifice. Then he rises, praying, ‘May the bolt be removed’.

Eṣaḥ vai yajamānasya loke etā asmi, I am ready to go to a world appropriate for one who performs sacrifices; atra yajamānaḥ parastāt āyuṣaḥ, I, the yajamāna, will live here after my death; svāhā, [saying] Svāhā [he completes the sacrifice]; uttiṣṭhati, he rises; iti uktvā, saying this; apahata parigham, may the bolt be removed.
